A picture is worth 365,000 words

We have been inundated with snow lately here in the Mid-Atlantic. We had a storm on the 6th that left us about 2 feet of snow and then another 2 feet of snow on the 9th. It's been K-raz-y around here! So, here are some shots from our snowmageddon.

Friday, Feb. 5th - you can still see the driveway!

We woke up to about 3"-4" of snow. It was so pretty. I was so hoping for the 8" they were calling for, because that would give me the day off. But, instead, we got a 2 hour delay. Bah! Brian spent the morning shoveling the cement portion of the driveway. The funny part was the gravel portion of the driveway eventually started to look like an amusement park car ride. Two very narrow lanes that the wheels had to go through. Once you were in the two channels, you didn't even have to steer the car! And that lasted about a week. Amazing what cold weather does.

Ok, this will probably be out of order, but I forgot I did take a photo yesterday. LOL! This is me...helping get the snow off the car. Yup, snow. We went to the PA Christmas Gift Show in Harrisburg and came out to snow. Who knew? We sure didn't! So, this is my, with my hood up helping hubby get the snow off the car. As they say, many hands make light work...or some such.
